Matilde Serao Naples also known as Parthenope according to the myth of the Siren, vainly in love with the hero Ulysses, who committed suicide by jumping into the sea from a cliff and whose body, carried by the waves, generated the city. My new collection is entirely dedicated to my city to which I am deeply linked not only by birth but also by that feeling of "Neapolitanness" deriving from the rich and historical popular tradition and its thousand-year-old culture.
